Fake Job Offers
We're seeing bad actors reach out with fake job offers imitating real open positions here at Housecall Pro. Any employment contact will happen through @housecallpro.com emails and interviews will be conducted through zoom with some preliminary screening over the phone. If you have not had a video call interview then you are too early in the process to be receiving a job offer. We do not use Microsoft Teams.
Fake Customer Support
We're seeing bad actors attempting to imitate Housecall Pro employees and get Pros to change their payment details. Make sure that any information regarding changes are coming from expected channels through real @housecallpro.com emails. Verify with a known point of contact if anything feels suspicious. We do not utilize Zelle or Paypal and will not ask you to do so.
